When we describe a thing or an event in as much details as possible in an impersonal way, it is reporting. A report can never be a piece of literature similarly a very realistic detailed drawing or painting devoid of style , being impersonal, cannot be rated high as a painting. What do you think ?
I totally agree with you Sir. A corollary of this would be that if two people painted the same subject at the same time , it would be art only if their renditions differed from each other in terms of their personal touch. If they are both identical it would be reporting as you said.
